We are pleased to present Volume 1, Issue 2 (2024) of Inkwell Insights in Social and Religious Studies, featuring thought-provoking scholarship on key theological and socio-religious themes. This issue delves into Muslim feminist discourse, offering a critical analysis of Amina Wadud’s perspectives on the creation of women. It also explores the concept of family life in Islamic civilization, the theological significance of the word ‘Kun’, and the correction of linguistic errors in Hadith texts. Lastly, an analytical study examines the welfare system during the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (RA). We hope these contributions inspire further academic discussions.
